Jamey Stillings grew up in Oregon and lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA.

 

Stillings is currently working on a multi-year project, Changing Perspectives: Renewable Energy and the Shifting Human Landscape, a long-term aerial and ground-based photography project documenting global renewable energy development.

 

Stillings' career spans documentary, fine art and commercial assignments. He earned a BA in Art from Willamette University (1978) and an MFA in Photography from Rochester Institute of Technology (1982).

 

His work is in the collections of the United States Library of Congress; the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston; the Los Angeles County Museum of Art; the Nevada Museum of Art; UNLV Libraries Special Collections; and other private collections.
